Starting a Business in Utah

The Basics

We have been forming corporations and LLCs in Utah for years. When your order is placed, our staff will see your order through to the next step by doing a name search and preparing your documents. Your articles are reviewed and submitted to the state. Then we monitor the filing to be sure everything is going smoothly.

When the documents have been approved, your company officially exists as a separated entity from yourself. Sign up today to get started! We’ll even include website, email, and phone service at no additional upfront cost so you can get on the web and start fielding client calls in minutes.

Doing Business in Utah

Business Maintenance

All Utah Corporations and LLCs Must File:

  • Articles of Incorporation
Utah corporations and LLCs are formed by filing a Corporation Charter or Articles of Organization with the Utah Division of Corporations. It costs $70 to form a Utah corporation or LLC (plus $5 if you want a fax confirmation).
  • Beneficial Ownership Information Report
Nearly all businesses formed by filing with the state of Utah must file a federal Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) following business formation. You can file online through FinCEN at no cost. Or, take advantage of our professional BOI report filing service for just $9.
  • Annual Report
Utah corporations and LLC’s must file annual reports with the Utah Division of Corporations. The report is due by the anniversary date of your organization or incorporation. Utah corporations and LLCs must pay a $20 fee. The Utah annual report may be filed online.
