All Washington Corporations and LLCs Must File: 

  • Articles of Incorporation
    Washington corporations and LLCs are formed by filing the Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Organization with the Washington Secretary of State. It costs $180 to form a Washington corporation or LLC ($200 online). Standard processing time is 3 business days.
  • Initial Report
    Washington corporations and LLCs are required to file an Initial Report with the Secretary of State within 120 days of incorporation or organization. There is a $10 fee to file the initial report.
  • Beneficial Ownership Information Report
    Nearly all businesses formed by filing with the state of Washington must file a federal Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) following business formation. You can file online through FinCEN at no cost. Or, take advantage of our professional BOI report filing service for just $9.
  • Annual Report
    Washington corporations and LLC’s must file annual reports with the Washington Secretary of State. The annual report is due by the last day of the month during which the business was registered. Washington corporations and LLCs pay $71 to file the annual report. The Washington Annual Report may be filed online.
