All Nevada Corporations and LLCs Must File:

  • Articles of Incorporation
Nevada corporations and LLCs are formed by filing the Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Organization with the Nevada Secretary of State. It costs $75 to form a Nevada LLC. The filing fee for a Nevada corporation is based on shares authorized and is at least $75.
  • Initial List
All Nevada corporations must file an initial list which includes the registered agent as well as the members or officers/directors after formation. The initial list is due by the end of the month following the month in which you formed your business. The initial list form is combined with the Nevada Business License Application. There is a $150 fee to file the initial list. You may choose to file the initial list and business license application online. If you file online, you’ll need to pay a 2.5% credit card processing fee.
  • Beneficial Ownership Information Report
Nearly all businesses formed by filing with the state of Nevada must file a federal Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) following business formation. You can file online through FinCEN at no cost. Or, take advantage of our professional BOI report filing service for just $9.
  • Annual List
Nevada corporations and LLC’s must file annual reports with the Secretary of State by the end of their filing anniversary month each year. Nevada corporations and LLCs must pay a $50 fee. The Nevada annual report may be filed online. If you file online, you’ll need to pay a 2.5% credit card processing fee.

Nevada Business License

Nevada does have a state business license requirement. You can apply for the business license along with your initial list. Then you can renew them both annually. The Nevada Business License costs $500 for corporations or $200 for LLCs. The state also charges a 2.5% credit card processing fee for all online filings.

Many Nevada businesses also need an occupational license or a local license/permit from the city or county.
