A LLC name in Massachusetts cannot be the same or deceptively similar to any name of a corporation, limited partnership, or limited liability company reserved or organized under the laws of the Commonwealth. The name of the LLC may contain the name of a member. Any person conducting business in the state of Massachusetts under any name other then their full legal name must file a business certificate in the city where they business has an office.
Annual Report
All Massachusetts LLCs must file an Annual Report on before the anniversary date of the initial organization. This Annual Report will be used to keep the LLC information up-to-date, even if the information does not change. The fee for the Annual Report is $500.
