You can reserve your LLC name in advance by filing a form with the Secretary of State. There is an additional charge for reserving a name for your LLC, ranging from $10 to $100 dollars depending on the individual state.
In many cases, reserving a name for your LLC is not necessary, especially if you rush your filing.
If your filing is rushed, we will have the paperwork to the state usually within 24 hours. The time for approval is different in each state, but in general a name reservation is not necessary if you are filing using our express/expedited service.
Name reservation is far more appropriate if you have decided on a name for your LLC, but you are not yet ready to file the paperwork and create your company.
